2-1-1 On the Go! is a program through United Way of Southeastern Michigan's 2-1-1 information and referral service which helps get homeless individuals off the street or out of the shelters and into full-time employment and permanent housing. 2-1-1 On the Go! has the ability to provide direct services to help the homeless overcome barriers preventing them from reaching their goals of employment and permanent housing. The program takes the resources from United Way of Southeastern Michigan's 2-1-1 call center out onto the streets, to the homeless population. 2-1-1 On the Go! and its partnering agencies all work together to rally around the homeless individual and help him or her reach their goals of getting off the street and into a more stable lifestyle. We utilize a collaboration of agencies that can provide key services to someone who is homeless. 2-1-1 is an information and referral line that anyone can call 24/7 to receive information about health and human service agencies in Southeastern Michigan that can assist them with whatever needs they might have. We help callers get in touch with the right people to receive assistance in finding a job, temporary/permanent housing, utility bill assistance, child care, health insurance, care for seniors and much more.

• Regional Bus Passes
• Voicemail Box (to allow them to be contacted by employers and agencies)
• Mailing Address
• Calling Card
